Bristol City have accepted an offer for defender Matt Hill from Preston North End, reports BBC Radio Bristol.
Bristol-born Hill came through the youth ranks at Ashton Gate
The £100,000 offer triggers a clause in Hill's contract that now allows him to speak to the Championship side.
City rejected a smaller bid from Queens Park Rangers on Monday as it did not meet their valuation.
The 23-year-old has made over 200 appearances for City since making his debut in 1998, and he signed a two-year contract with the club last summer.
