Brighton midfielder David Livermore has said he hopes scoring his first goal for the club will be enough to earn him an extended run in the first-team.
The 28-year-old scored in the Seagulls' 2-0 Johnstone's Paint Trophy win over Swindon on Tuesday.
He told BBC Southern Counties Radio: "I've spoken to the manager about playing, he's been honest with me.
"He felt my form at the start of the season wasn't good enough. I accepted that, we'll see what happens Saturday."
Livermore will however be suspended for the home game with Huddersfield on Saturday, 22 November after picking up his fifth booking of the season.
