Lynch has had 10 minutes of competitive action so far this season
Brighton have confirmed they have turned down a transfer request from centre-back Joel Lynch.
Colin Hawkins and Tommy Elphick have been preferred so far this season at centre half for the Seagulls.
Manager Micky Adams told BBC Southern Counties Radio: "He's a bit frustrated - maybe that's a little bit of immaturity but it's his prerogative.
He added: "The Albion fans can be rest assured we don't want him to leave and we've had no offers for him."
Lynch is back in the squad for this weekend's game with Leyton Orient. He was left out of the 16 for the win at Southend having put in his transfer request the day before the game.
