Brighton manager Micky Adams says he is extremely disappointed to see coach Ian Chapman walk away from the club.

Chapman was brought in by the man Adams replaced, Dean Wilkins. Wilkins is yet to decide whether he wants to accept an offer to return to the coaching staff.

Adams told BBC Southern Counties Radio: "The staff was going to stay. I had no plans to bring anyone in or let anyone go. I'll have to rethink.

"Ian felt uncomfortable with the whole scenario which is understandable."
