Brighton have signed Queens Park Rangers midfielder Nick Ward on loan, and also signed fellow midfielder Alexis Bertin from Le Havre.
Ward has made 21 appearances since joining QPR last summer
Ward, 21, joined QPR from Perth Glory in his native Australia last year.
"He's a very attack-minded midfield player and he will bring much-needed competition to the squad," boss Dean Wilkins told Brighton's website.
Meanwhile, the Seagulls have taken over 26-year-old Bertin's contract until the end of the season.
"I've seen Alexis play against us for Le Havre and he has a good pedigree," Wilkins added.
