Ingimarsson joins Seagulls
Ivar Ingimarsson takes on Brighton form Wolves
Ingimarsson has joined the Seagulls on loan
Brighton have clinched the signing of versatile Icelandic international Ivar Ingimarsson on a month's loan from Wolves.

The 25-year-old, who can operate in the centre of midfield or defence, is well known to Seagulls boss Steve Coppell.

The Reykjavik-born player was Brentford's player of the year last season when Coppell steered them into the Second Division play-offs.

Ingimarsson is likely to be used at first in the centre of the park.

"He's a terrific athlete," said Coppell. "He will fit in with the players we have and that's an important ingredient in anyone coming to this club.

"It's an extra body. We've got seven games coming in March and I wouldn't be doing my job properly if we lost matches because of lack of numbers and personnel."
