Crowe extends stay with Bees

Portsmouth right-back Jason Crowe's stay at Brentford is to be extended for a further two months.

After a successful first month, the Bees had been hoping to tie up a permanent deal for the former Arsenal defender, but the management changes at Fratton Park have put those plans on hold for the time being.

Since Crowe's arrival, the Second Division side have enjoyed a five-match unbeaten run in the League.

Meanwhile, Bees striker Lloyd Owusu may be close to a first team comeback after two months on the sidelines with a dislocated shoulder.

He hopes to play in a reserve match next week to prove his fitness.
