Brentford release Mark Phillips and Steve Kabba

Brentford

Brentford have released four players, including defender Mark Phillips and striker Steve Kabba.

Defensive duo Fraser Franks and Lewis Ferrell have also been released, while midfielder Cleveland Taylor has been transfer-listed.

But manager Andy Scott has made offers to Nikki Bull, Karleigh Osborne and midfielder Ryan Dickson.

Striker Carl Cort has been offered a new deal, while defender Leon Legge has been offered an improved contract.

Phillips made 60 appearances for Brentford in a two-year spell since signing from Millwall, while Kabba made just 12 before moving to Burton Albion on loan, where he scored six goals in 24 games.

Taylor also joined Burton on loan midway through the season, playing 24 matches and scoring four times.

He has scored only once for the Bees after signing from Carlisle United last summer.
