Evans leads Bees exodus
Brentford boss Martin Allen
Bees boss Martin Allen is ringing the changes at Griffin Park
Brentford have told Welsh midfielder Stephen Evans that he will not be offered a new contract this summer.

Alan Julian, Jay Smith and Dean Wells are also being allowed to leave.

On-loan trio Joel Kitamirike (Chelsea), Ben May (Millwall) and Tommy Wright (Leicester) will all be returning to their respective clubs.

But Ronnie Bull will be offered a week-to-week deal over the summer and Andy Frampton is considering a further 12 month contract at Griffin Park.

Bees boss Martin Allen says the club will operate without a reserve team next season.

"After consultation with my staff, I plan on having a much reduced playing squad for my challenge to win as many games as possible," Allen said.

"We will run as a club with a first team and an under-18 team.

"If I struggle for players the under-18 boys will have to step up and step forward and I will also have the option of bringing in loan players."
