Price leaves Brentford
Brentford are unhappy that Price has not signed a new deal
Price was offered a new, improved contract
Striker Jason Price has left Brentford after failing to agree a new contract.

The Welsh Under-21 international had been expected to sign a new deal after his initial three-month contract expired.

But Price has not accepted he terms of a new contract and has terminated his association with the club.

"Brentford are extremely disappointed at the way negotiations were conducted," said a club statement.

"Particularly as the player had continued to train with the club after his contract had expired."

But Blackburn striker Ben Burgess will remain on loan at Brentford until the end of the season.

The 19-year-old's loan spell was due to end next Saturday.

However, the two clubs have now agreed to extend the loan period for the rest of the campaign.

Former Irish under-21 midfielder Tony Folan has left Brentford to join Irish League side Bohemians.
