Millmoor beckons for Minton
![]() A surplus of midfielders has led to a move
Port Vale midfielder Jeff Minton is having talks with Rotherham with a view to making a permanent switch to Millmoor.
The 28-year-old has struggled to hold down a regular place in Vale's first team, playing only three times this year. And with a number of midfield players at his disposal, manager Brian Horton has decided to let Minton talk to the Valiants' Second Division rivals. Vale assistant boss Mark Grew said: "We are overloaded with midfield players and have decided to let Jeff go."
