Midfielder Brandon joins the exodus from Bradford City

Brandon was brought to Bradford by former manager Stuart McCall

Bradford City midfielder Chris Brandon is the latest player to leave the club by mutual consent.

The 33-year-old is out of contract in the summer but will leave immediately as new manager Peter Taylor continues to ring the changes at Valley Parade.

Brandon joined City in July 2008 but injuries restricted him to 31 appearances in 20 months.

His departure follows the exit earlier this week of striker Peter Thorne and brothers Michael and Rory Boulding.

The locally-born Brandon failed to win a regular place in the side during his two years at Valley Parade.

The former Huddersfield Town player may not play for another League or Conference side this season, but could play at any level below that.
