Bradford City's loan striker Chris O'Grady is hopeful his move will revive his career.
The 22-year-old made his City debut in Saturday's draw with Shrewsbury after his loan move from Oldham where he has made just three league starts.
O'Grady told BBC Radio Leeds: "My move to Oldham has stalled my career slightly. I was playing every week at Rotherham, but I'm not at Oldham.
"This move to Bradford is a chance for me to get back on track."
O'Grady scored 11 goals for League Two side Rotherham United last season, but has failed to find the net this season for either Oldham or during an earlier loan spell at Bury.
The former Leicester player added: "I can't complain at not being in the Oldham side because they started the season well and have gone from strength to strength.
"They had a settled team before i arrived and I have not been able to break into their first team.
"I know there is competition for places at Bradford and that's a very healthily thing.
"That pushes people, but hopefully I can win a first-team place and keep it."
