Veteran defender David Wetherall has been reinstated as Bradford captain by new manager Stuart McCall.
Wetherall, 36, handed the armband to fellow defender Mark Bower after he was named as caretaker manager in February following the departure of Colin Todd.
But he will reclaim the captaincy under McCall's management next season.
"Wethers can be one of our leading players next year - and if he wants to do some coaching, that's great," McCall told the Telegraph & Argus.
