Bradford have confirmed Colin Todd as their new manager, in succession to Bryan Robson who rejected the chance to stay on as boss for next season.
Todd, who was Robson's number two, will be assisted by Bobby Davison, who steps up from his previous role as reserve and youth team manager.
The duo's contracts are now being drawn up by the club's administrators.
Todd, who won 27 England caps as a player, has previously managed Middlesbrough, Bolton and Derby.
He is expected to announce details of the rest of his staff early next week.
Robson's contract had expired on 9 May.
He had said at the end of last season that he only wanted to carry on if the Bantams came out of administration - of which the current spell began in February.
The club must satisfy the Football League that they can make it through next season at a League board meeting on 8 July.
