Bradford sign Paston
Bradford manager Nicky Law
Law has thrashed out a deal with Paston
Bradford City have signed goalkeeper Mark Paston on a two-year a deal.

The New Zealand international arrived at Valley Parade on a trial basis after a brief spell at Barnsley.

Paston played a full 90 minutes in Bradford's friendly against Partick Thistle and, despite losing 4-2, the 26-year-old impressed boss Nicky Law.

"I thought Mark did very well, he came for crosses and made a couple of good saves and looked commanding," Law said.

"We're going to have to make a decision and hopefully we may be able to do something with him.

"He wants his chance over here, he's come and he's taken it," Law told the Bradford Telegraph and Argus newspaper.

Paston has returned to professional football after taking four years out to study at university.
