Bantams pair return
Wetherall has been plagued by a groin problem
Bradford defenders David Wetherall and Gunnar Halle have returned from injury to help ease the growing crisis at Valley Parade.

Wetherall had been absent for the last four months with a groin problem, but he played the first 40 minutes for the Bantams reserves in a 3-1 defeat to Liverpool.

Bradford also feared that Halle would be out for rest of the season after he broke his ribs in a game at Grimsby five weeks ago.

But the former Norwegian international also played for 50 minutes in the reserve game against Liverpool.

It was a welcome boost for the Bantams after they fell to a shock 1-0 away defeat to rock-bottom Stockport in midweek, a team that had not won in 19 games.
