Bournemouth may sign Angus
Stevland Angus
Angus could follow in Rio Ferdinand's footsteps
Bournemouth have been given the go-ahead to sign loan target Stevland Angus from West Ham, though boss Mel Machin is still to make a final decision about the deal.

The 19-year-old could complete the move next week on a month's loan with a view to staying for the whole season.

The defender has 12 months left on his Hammers contract and follows the same Dean Court route as Rio Ferdinand.

"If he doesn't make it with Bournemouth, he's definitely not going to be good enough to play for us," said former Cherries boss Harry Redknapp.
