Cherries sell out Spurs friendly

Bournemouth's friendly with Premier League giants Tottenham at Dean Court on Friday is a 9,000 sell-out.

The Spurs management team of Harry Redknapp and Kevin Bond are both former Cherries bosses, and will bring a full-strength squad to Dorset.

The Cherries also face Premier League outfit Fulham next week at Dean Court.

Director of operations Adam Murry told BBC Radio Solent: "It's great that the fans have got behind us and it's a fantastic game for us to have."

He added: "It's also the first time we're running one of our charity initiatives, so we're asking fans to get involved.

"This is a community club, so we'll be helping out community charities, starting with the Bournemouth Food Bank on Friday.

"Any non-perishable items that fans can bring to the game and donate will be really much appreciated."
