Bond hopeful over Reading quartet
Jem Karacan, Alex Pearce and James Henry
Karacan, Pearce and Henry have all impressed while with Bournemouth
Bournemouth boss Kevin Bond remains hopeful that some of his quartet of on-loan Reading players could return to Dean Court in the future.

Jem Karacan, Alex Pearce, James Henry and Scott Golbourne will return to the Royals after the Cherries' game at Brighton on New Year's Day.

"I think Reading want to have a look at them and see how they've improved," Bond told BBC Radio Solent.

"But we might be able to reassess something later in January."

He added: "I would take them all back given the opportunity - they've all done very well."

The Cherries are also due to lose two more loanees - Leicester winger Max Gradel and Portsmouth midfielder Jean-Francois Christophe - after the Brighton game.

Both have spent the first half of the season at Bournemouth, and Bond hopes to extend the pair's stay.

However, after the Brighton game, the Cherries have 11 days before their next first-team game to replenish their ranks.
