Winger Albert Jarrett is hoping to steer Boston away from trouble after joining on loan from Watford.
Jarrett was called up by Sierra Leone earlier this season
The 22-year-old joined Boston on a month's loan on Saturday morning, and made his Pilgrims debut in the afternoon's 3-0 defeat by Shrewsbury.
"We need to roll our sleeves up and battle, because there is no point sitting around making excuses," Jarrett told Boston's website.
"We need to get back to basics and concentrate on doing the right things."
Jarrett has made just two first-team appearances for Watford since joining them on a free transfer from Brighton last summer.
He has also previously played for Wimbledon, Stevenage and Swindon.
