Evans set for appeal
Former Boston manager Steve Evans says his appeal against charges of contract irregularities and impeding an FA enquiry will be heard later this month.

Evans told BBC Radio Lincolnshire his FA hearing is scheduled to take place at an undisclosed location in London on 19 May.

In February the FA banned Steve Evans from football for 20 months and fined him 8,000.

The ruling came at the end of an eight-month investigation into events at the club, which began shortly after they won promotion to the Football League.

In July Boston were fined 100,000 and deducted four points for contract irregularities.
