Bolton defender Abdoulaye Faye has been released from hospital after being concussed in Sunday's win at Blackburn.
He was taken in as a precaution after colliding with Jussi Jaaskelainen.
Faye will miss Wednesday's Carling Cup tie with Charlton and faces further tests to determine if he will face Manchester United on Saturday.
Bolton captain Kevin Nolan faces a two-game ban for his dismissal at Blackburn and an additional one-match ban for a fifth booking of the season.
