Cisse set for Bolton move
Bolton are set to complete the signing of Senegal international midfielder Aliou Cisse from Birmingham.

Cisse, who joined Blues after the 2002 World Cup, has passed a medical and will be Bolton's second close-season capture after Michael Bridges' arrival.

Wanderers chairman Phil Gartside told his club's website: "Birmingham have accepted our offer and it is just a matter of finalising things.

"The player has been for a medical and passed with flying colours."

Cisse, 28, fell out with Blues boss Steve Bruce ahead of the last campaign after turning up late for pre-season training.

He was transfer-listed and fined but, after apologising for his actions, Cisse went on to make 17 appearances for Birmingham last season.

However, he picked up seven yellow cards and one red one along the way.
