Bolton snap up Pedersen
Manager Sam Allardyce said:
Manager Sam Allardyce said: "Henrik is an exciting player"
Premiership new-boys Bolton have made their first signing of the summer by snapping up Danish striker Henrik Pedersen from Silkeborg for 650,000.

The 26-year-old international - he has four caps to his name - has signed a four-year contract at the Reebok Stadium.

Manager Sam Allardyce said: "Henrik is an exciting player, strong and quick and a good finisher."

Pedersen scored 25 goals in 33 games last season. Borussia Dortmund and Stuggart apparently expressed an interest in taking him to Germany.

His arrival strengthens Allardyce's options up front ahead of their opening Premiership game at Leicester.

Dean Holdsworth and Ian Marshall, who signed new deals in the close season, and Michael Ricketts are also in contention for a place in the starting line-up.
