Blackpool boss Simon Grayson has signed a new contract at the Championship club which runs until June 2010.
Grayson replaced Colin Hendry as manager at Bloomfield Road
The Seasiders also have an option to extend the deal by a further 12 months.
Former Blackpool defender Grayson, 38, took over in November 2005, initially on a caretaker basis, and was appointed full-time in January 2006.
He led Blackpool to promotion via the play-offs last season to lift the club back to Championship level for the first time in 36 years.
