Experienced defender Tony Butler has completed his switch from Bristol City to Blackpool on a free transfer.
Butler was keen to move to the north-west
The 32-year-old wanted to move closer to his Nantwich home, and returns for a second spell at Bloomfield Road.
He played 116 games for the Seasiders after joining them from Gillingham for £240,000 in 1996, leaving to join Port Vale for £115,000 in 1999.
After a spell at West Brom he joined City on a free transfer in 2002, and played over 100 games at Ashton Gate.
