Blackpool manager Steve McMahon has bolstered his squad with the signing of Fulham midfielder Sean Doherty.
Doherty is at Blackpool for a month
The 18-year-old midfielder has moved to Bloomfield Road on a month's loan.
Doherty is an England under-20 international and has been tracked by McMahon since he caught his eye in Everton's academy.
"He is a left-sider and he is joining on loan ready to start for next weekend. He's an exciting young lad," said the Blackpool boss.
"I knew about him a couple of years ago when he was at Everton. Fulham bought him for a lot of money because of his promise.
"After two years at Fulham he needs to get out and get some experience and I am going to hopefully give him that.
"It will be a month-long deal initially. We will see what happens between both parties and take it from here," McMahon told the Blackpool Evening Gazette.
Fulham have also allowed defender Mark Hudson to extend his loan at Oldham for a second month.
