McMahon: I'm staying
Blackpool boss Steve McMahon insists he is not leaving the club.

Speculation arose last week that McMahon had quit as manager of the Second Division outfit.

But on his return from a holiday in Spain for his first pre-season training session, McMahon put any Blackpool fears to rest.

"There was absolutely no truth in the saga saying I had resigned from the club," said McMahon.

Blackpool had issued a statement dismissing speculation that McMahon was set to quit Bloomfield Road.

The club said that chairman Karl Oyston was also on holiday in Spain and had met McMahon to discuss the upcoming season.
