Blackburn boss Mark Hughes has set his sights on boosting his strike force when the summer transfer window opens.
Hughes is putting a striker at the top of his summer shopping-list
Paul Dickov is Rovers' top scorer with 10 goals this season and Hughes wants the right man to partner him up front.
"We have not scored as many goals as we would have liked and that is obviously an area we are keen to improve on next season," Hughes told the club website.
"We do not discuss names of targets but supporters can rest assured that we are already looking."
Jon Stead has struggled to make an impact in his first full season at Ewood Park after grabbing six goals at the tail end of the last campaign.
Strike duo Matt Jansen and Paul Gallagher have also had difficult seasons after being dogged by injury.
Since arriving at Blackburn last September, Hughes has signed defenders Ryan Nelsen and Aaron Mokoena as well as midfielder Robbie Savage.
