Hughes lavishes praise on new duo

Blackburn boss Mark Hughes highlightede the contributions of Aaron Mokoena and Ryan Nelsen who made their league debuts in the away win over Portsmouth.

Hughes said: "We were missing our two regular full-backs so we're very happy. "Under those circumstances, to come here and produce a performance like that was very pleasing.

"I thought that defensively, we were very sound. I thought the players who came in were excellent - Aaron was superb and Ryan was first class."
