Man Utd put Spector loan on hold
Jonathan Spector in action for Manchester United
Spector will join Blackburn later this month
Manchester United have put Jonathan Spector's loan move to Blackburn on hold until their injury problems ease.

Injuries to John O'Shea and Quinton Fortune leaves United short of cover for left-back Gabriel Heinze.

"I spoke to Sir Alex Ferguson on Friday and they have had a few injury concerns," Blackburn boss Mark Hughes told the Lancashire Evening Telegraph.

"When the situation at United eases, then maybe in the middle of January we will be able to bring him in."

Hughes had agreed a deal with Ferguson to sign Spector, 18, on loan for the remainder of the season.
