Rovers performance pleases Hughes
HUGHES'S VIEW
Mark Hughes felt Blackburn were good value for the three points after Paul Dickov's volley beat rivals Bolton.

Rovers boss said: "We've not had the rewards that our performances have deserved recently, but we did here.

"There was a determination in the dressing room before the game - we knew we had enough quality to beat them and we showed that with the goal.

"In the second-half we withstood everything they threw at us and created more chances so the win was deserved."

Hughes added: "It was a great strike by Paul - he gives us great energy, chases lost causes and to be fair he's been doing that all season.

"But the guys at the back and in midfield also played well and that meant Brad Friedel had hardly anything to deal with."
