Blackburn have revealed they have rejected an offer from Birmingham for Scotland striker Paul Dickov.
Dickov, who was a £150,000 buy from Leicester in June this year, was told of the approach but informed Rovers he wanted to stay.
Blackburn chief executive John Williams told the club's website: "We rejected the approach.
"Paul also made it clear that he was happy at Blackburn and he had no intention of leaving."
Birmingham's approach for Dickov comes after Rovers were reported to have made a £2m bid for Blues midfielder Robbie Savage.
Blackburn boss Mark Hughes is keen to bolster his squad in January as the club battle to avoid relegation.
But Blues manager Steve Bruce insists he does not want to sell the Wales midfielder.
