Ferguson broke a kneecap against Newcastle in December

Blackburn midfielder Barry Ferguson has been given the green light to start pre-season training after a six-month injury nightmare.
Ferguson missed most of last season after breaking a kneecap in December.
The £7.5m capture from Rangers will return to training 10 days ahead of his team-mates and is aiming to feature in Rovers' pre-season trip to Germany.
He told the Lancashire Evening Telegraph: "Things have gone well for me over the summer."
Scottish international Ferguson recently underwent a minor operation to have wires removed from his kneecap.
The discomfort from those wires forced Ferguson to abandon plans to make a comeback at the back end of last season.
Ferguson added: "It's been pretty horrible, particularly as the injury came at a time I felt I was just settling down and starting to play the way I know I can.
"To then get injured was devastating but these things happen in football and hopefully it is all behind me now.
"I had three weeks off to go on holiday then I came back and did a bit of running before going into hospital to have the wires taken out of my knee.
"So that is me ready to go now."
