PFA intervenes in Cole row
Andy Cole
Cole has had a fiery relationship with Souness
The Professional Footballers Association has been called in to intervene in a dispute between Andy Cole and Graeme Souness.

The pair fell out when the striker missed the last week's flight as the club travelled to Spain.

Cole is thought to have complained that Souness has given him unfair treatment.

"I've a lot of respect for both parties and hopefully, it can all be forgotten about and we can all move on," said PFA chief executive Gordon Taylor.

Earlier this week Souness had an angry bust-up with Dwight Yorke following a training ground clash.

"If I get a call from a player, it's my job to try and pour oil over troubled waters by speaking to both parties and that's what has happened in this case," added Taylor.
