Blackburn ready to offload Grabbi
Corrado Grabbi
Blackburn are in talks with an Italian top-flight side about the sale of striker Corrado Grabbi.

Blackburn chief executive John Williams said: "I think they would be quite interested in taking him but there's a long way to go in negotiations yet."

Grabbi signed for the Ewood Park side from Ternana for 6.75m in June 2001 but he has failed to live up to the promise that came with his arrival.

He has failed to score in seven outings for Blackburn this season.

Meanwhile, Blackburn midfielder Steven Reid may be unavailable to manager Graeme Souness over the Christmas period.

Reid picked up a hamstring injury during training and could miss the games against Aston Villa, Middlesbrough and Newcastle.
