Turkey striker Hakan
Sukur has rejoined Galatasaray, according to the club's website.
Sukur did not prosper at Blackburn
The 32-year-old signed a six-month contract with Blackburn last December but was unable to agree an extension to the deal with Rovers manager Graeme Souness.
A statement on the Galatasaray website on Monday said that the striker had trained with the Istanbul team and would join the squad at their pre-season training in Austria.
Sukur, Turkey's most-capped international, played for
Galatasaray from 1992 to 2000, except for a three-month spell
with Italian side Torino.
He later joined Inter Milan and Parma before moving to Blackburn last year.
His career in England got off to a bad start when
he broke his leg in a training-ground accident shortly after joining
He also underwent hernia surgery during a two-month spell
on the sidelines.
Sukur revealed in May that he was having "problems" with Souness although the manager said that his probable departure was purely because financial terms could not be agreed.
