Birmingham City goalkeeper Maik Taylor has agreed a new two-year deal which will keep him at the club until 2010.
The Northern Ireland international's current contract was due to expire at the end of this month.
Taylor, who has made 188 appearances since joining from Fulham in the summer of 2003, was reportedly attracting interest from top Premier League teams.
The 36-year-old initially moved on loan in August 2003 from the London side and was signed for £1.5m in March 2004.
Taylor started his career in non-league football with Farnborough before joining Barnet.
The Germany-born keeper moved to Southampton and Fulham, playing top-flight football for both clubs.
