Birmingham have completed the permanent signing of on-loan Arsenal midfielder Sebastian Larsson for £1m.
Sebastian Larsson has impressed at Birmingham
The Sweden Under-21 international has signed a four-year contract with the Blues after spending the whole of the season on loan at St Andrew's.
Manager Steve Bruce told the club website: "He has done very well since he has been here and he can play in a number of different positions.
"He is young, hungry and ambitious and epitomises the type of player we need."
Larsson's loan deal was due to expire at the end of the season but the Blues have moved to head off interest from other clubs, including IFK Gothenburg, who were monitoring the midfielder.
The Swede, 21, has been a regular in Bruce's side and has scored six goals in his 34 appearances so far this season.
