Celtic winger Ross Wallace has gone on a week's trial with Birmingham City.
Ross Wallace was used an auxiliary left-back
The club relegated to the English Championship last season confirmed that the 21-year-old had arrived at St Andrews on Tuesday.
Wallace, who is a product of Celtic's youth set-up, has made 22 starts for the Scottish champions, as well as 26 appearances as a subtitute.
He was used as a stand-in left-back last season but appears to have fallen down Gordon Strachan's pecking order.
Birmingham have also been credited with an interest in Scotland defender Andy Webster.
The 24-year-old centre-half is available after exploiting a Fifa loophole that allowed him to hand in his notice at Hearts, with a year remaining on his contract.
