Defender Bruce is handed FA fine
Alex Bruce has served Oldham, Sheffield Wednesday and Tranmere on loan
Birmingham defender Alex Bruce has been fined £500 by the Football Association after admitting a charge relating to his recent loan spell at Tranmere.

Bruce, 21, was charged with abusive and/or indecent and/or insulting behaviour relating to Rovers' 1-0 defeat at Bristol City on 15 October.

Despite admitting the charge, he requested a personal hearing, and was also warned as to his future conduct.

Bruce returned from his loan spell at Prenton Park at the end of October.

He has also served Oldham and Sheffield Wednesday on loan but is yet to make his competitive debut for Birmingham, who are managed by his father Steve.
