BRUCE'S VIEW
|
Steve Bruce has asked fans to get behind the team after his Birmingham players were booed off the pitch following their draw against Norwich.
"A couple of years ago our supporters would have been delirious with a point and we've got to get back that mentality," he said.
"I thought being booed of was very harsh. We played extremely well in the first-half.
"If they get on the backs of the players that certainly doesn't help."
Bruce then paid tribute to the opposition's fans.
"The crowd are really frustrated with it but you saw the way the Norwich crowd were towards the end," added the former Manchester United player.
"We were like that two years ago, the supporters, without the expectation.
"Their fans were delighted to nick a point away from home."
