Birmingham's appeal against keeper Maik Taylor's sending off in the Easter Monday clash at Portsmouth has been dismissed by the Football Association.
Taylor received his second red card of the season after handling the ball outside his penalty area.
"The video advisory panel have come back with the verdict that in their view this was not a case for wrongful dismissal," said the FA.
Taylor will now miss the games against Arsenal and Liverpool.
