Savage in the dock
Robbie Savage
Savage will protest his innocence to the FA
Robbie Savage will appear before a Football Association hearing on 13 August to answer a charge of misconduct.

The Birmingham City midfielder will be up before the FA concerning an incident which took place while he was with former club Leicester City.

Savage was charged after using the referee's toilet at Filbert Street on 20 April before a game against Aston Villa last season.

The referee for the match was Graham Poll and he reported the incident.

But Savage's defence is that he was suffering with an upset stomach at the time.
