Devlin keen on Blues move
Paul Devlin in action
Devlin has made his feelings clear
Sheffield United's Paul Devlin insists he wants a permanent move to Birmingham.

The skillful winger Paul Devlin ends his loan spell with the Blues after Saturday's game against Wolves.

But he is hoping for a return to St Andrews on a permanent basis.

It's up to the clubs to sort it out
Paul Devlin
Birmingham boss Steve Bruce has not hidden the fact he would like to keep Devlin and is expected to contact Blades boss Neil Warnock soon about a permanent deal.

Devlin said: "I've gone on record saying I would love to come back. I think people know I am a Brummie and that Blues are my team.

"But I still have two-and-a-half years left on my contract at United. There's nothing I can really do about it. It's up to the clubs to sort it out," he told the club's matchday programme.

Ferrari limps home

Meanwhile, Brazilian striker Carlos Ferrari has been released from his 12-month loan spell.

Ferrari joined the club last season when former manager Trevor Francis agreed to take him on loan until June.

But a long-term foot injury has resulted in the 23-year-old returning to his club Mirrassol.
