Russell signs for Berwick Rangers

Oliver Russell
Russell was an ever-present for Hibs U19s last season

Berwick Rangers have signed up 19-year-old midfielder Oliver Russell.

The Third Division outfit moved for the versatile Russell following his release by Hibernian after seven years at Easter Road.

Russell played in Hibs' double-winning Under-19 team last season and captained the side when they lifted the Scottish FA Youth Cup at Hampden.

Berwick have also signed Elliot Smith, Steven Notman, Paul Currie, Chris McMenamin and Alan Brazil this summer.
