McMenamin returns to Shielfield

McMenamin was on loan to Berwick from Airdrie last season

Chris McMenamin has returned to Berwick Rangers after the defender was released by Airdrie United following their relegation to Division Two.

McMenamin was on loan to the Third Division club last season but has now signed a permanent contract.

The 20-year-old, who had played only twice for Airdrie, made 24 appearances for Berwick last season.

McMenamin becomes Berwick's third signing in a week following midfielders Steven Notman and Paul Currie.

Notman arrived from Vale of Leithen and Currie from another junior outfit, Musselburgh Athletic.
