Smith joins Berwick from Forfar

Smith returns to Berwick after spells with East Fife and Forfar

Elliot Smith has signed for Berwick Rangers, having been released from contract by Third Division rivals Forfar Athletic.

The 25-year-old defender played 10 games for Berwick in the 2004/05 season, and moved on to play for East Fife, then the Loons.

Berwick ended the season second-bottom of the Third Division with only two wins from their last 10 matches.

The club released 11 players last month as part of a summer clearout.
