Teenage striker Jamil Adam leaves Barnsley

Barnsley

Barnsley have confirmed that striker Jamil Adam has left the Championship club by mutual consent.

The 19-year-old arrived at Oakwell in 2008 and made three substitute appearances for the Tykes.

The former Manchester City trainee has not appeared for the first-team since the 3-1 defeat by Swansea in April.

Adam becomes the second striker to leave the Tykes in a week, after Liam Dickinson joined Rochdale on loan until the end of the season.
